Final Task : Filming Blog

Filming Blog

I did not get to film yet. The reason for this is because I have not yet completed my storyboard. I have most of the storyboard finished, just a couple of minor things to finish. Tomorrow im going to finish my storyboard so i can check out a camera and start filming. This filming process is scheduled for this upcoming weekend and from there i will get to filming my movie. I will have my friends over to help me film and play major characters in my movie La Venganza. This process might take the whole day, and after i will begin editing my movie. The movie is a priority right now because its a major grade for AICE Media Studies. I have all my shots planned out ahead so now the only thing left to do is to actually go out and film with my friends. This movie is going to be great. I have put all of my effort into doing background research and planning ahead for this movie. Since the storyboard i have to finish, once i finish that, i will get to work on filming and editing for my movie. All the characters have been lined up and we are going to film at my house and at another abandoned house near mine. I don’t know the exact day but either Saturday or Sunday. With all of our combined efforts, i’m sure we’ll make a good movie. Alright its getting late, im going to go to sleep.

Final Task : Location,Sound,Participants,Health, Schedule

Location, Sound, Participants, Health, and Safety

Now, im going to upload my location, sound, participants, health and safety slides. In this presentation, i will talk about my location, different sounds, people who are participating, health , and how we are going to be safe during this blog. This is crucial to the blog because we have to stay informed on whats going on during the presentation. Below you’ll see attached the powerpoint. Instead of microsoft powerpoint, we now use google slides because you can actually embed rather than me put a link of the website to the blog. So below you’ll actually see my google slides embedded into the blog rather than a link to it.

Final Task : Shooting Script

Shooting Script : La Venganza

Now after i just finished my shooting script, i am able to finally picture the scenes of my movie in my head. I wanted to use pulp fiction as inspiration for my film. Pulp Fiction opens up the movie with an opening scene then begins to roll the opening sequence and that's what I've decided to do for my movie. I will probably get some of my friends to play the parts for the characters that I've made. In this opening sequence, I've introduced 3 different characters. Medina, the guy on the phone, and Jose who is the target of the assassination. I hope this movie turns out exactly like I have it in my head because it can be a really good opportunity to see an idea in my head come to life. So the next blog I'll post will be about location, sound, participants, health, and my schedule. I will keep updating this blog on my progress. Below you will see attached my actual shooting script and a description of the different shots.

Final Task : Sound Script

Sound Script : La Venganza

Good news, I've came up with a name for my final task, the name is going to be called Venganza, which is Spanish for revenge. 1 more little tweak that I made for my movie is going to be the fact that instead of Russian, the actors are going to be Cuban. Below I embedded my power point in the blog below so you can read my script so far. While I might make some final adjustments, my script is most likely going to be final. I don't know if i'm allowed to do this but instead of 10 individual scenes, i'm going to make 1 long opening scene and then i'll play my opening sequence. So so far I have my power point of the script, and i will post again to post my shooting script.
